Update!

Hello!!

Sooo it's been about a year since I last posted meaning it was about time for me to actually start utilizing this blog!  I'm still trying to learn how to navigate and label pages and whatnot so hopefully you can bare with me through this process haha.

Basically the past 2 months have been a complete roller coaster.  Not the fun type of woohoo here we go roller coaster, the type where your life is going through so many ups and downs you don't know which way to stay.

Ah, but to lighten the mood before I engage you with the happenings of this roller coaster, I introduce to you the best man ever, my dog Marley.

Anyways, I've contemplated for a while if I should let the world know of my recent escapades as it would be letting a lot of people I don't know into my life with the ability to judge and make assumptions of me.  But I think I will be doing a video series on my issues as I think it could be beneficial for many people if they are going through the same thing as me.  If I could help one person, it would totally be worth it.

A good while ago I was diagnosed with what I like to call a mood-disorder while the doctors would refer to it as bipolar disorder type II.  I feel judgement is created right when a person hears/reads these words as a lot of people do not understand or know what bipolar really is.  I will save you the nitty gritty details but basically there are two types of the disorder (I and II) where people have ups (manic episodes or hypomanic episodes) and downs (depressive stages).

March was extremely stressful for me because I wasn't able to control what was going on with me nor could anyone else help.  My doctor attempted but it was really time that I needed on my side.  So April was my "healing" month where I could basically relax and try to come back to the Carolyn everyone knows.  Although I am still not better, things are looking up and I'm excited to start getting things back on track.

Speaking of getting my life back on track, I have come up with a few goals I want to accomplish this week.

1 --> Write a blog post.
2 --> Make a beauty video.
3 --> Help my parents clean the house (as we are going to be putting it up for sale soon).
4 --> Film my whoinspiresu video entry with my friend Britt.
5 --> Begin working out.

Now I've basically done one out of those 5 things so far this week which is pretty legit in my opinion lol.

For my workout routine I've decided to mix it up a bit.  I am going to utilize my Wii Fit and found a website that creates a routine for you depending on what you want to focus on.


 So with my Wii Fit routine I am also going to be incorporating lifting weights and jogging/running.  My hopes is to drop some pounds and tone up by the time prime beach weather rolls around (most likely starting in June).  I could go on about my routine, but that should be left for another blog post.  Let me know if you'd like to hear about my routine - otherwise I'll keep my fatty diaries to myself :P.
